This song we found in the piano bench when my parents moved from their old house (where I had lived since I was two). I had forgotten all about this song, and from the handwriting, it looks like I wrote it when I was in about 3rd grade (y'know, that text-book cursive look), but there is no date on it.
It's obviously very simple, musically. And the words are pretty funny:
Oh I wish I could fly in the blue, blue sky
And I meet every bird as they'ed come bye.
I'd ask them if they could come to my party.
They'ed ask me what time
And I'd say 1 to 3
They said I'll be there and I'd say goodbye
And I'd leave them in the blue, blue sky.
I figured I'd leave the misspellings in for your enjoyment.
